It started with a notice in my home town.
Numenera hunters wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, extreme danger, long hours of hazardous exploration. Safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in event of success.
How could I resist such a notice? I spoke with two friends; Janal, a Resourceful Jack who Wears a Sheen of Ice, and Nyla, an Impulsive Glaive who Explores Dark Places. We decided that we would travel together to the city of Qi and present ourselves for the endevour.
I have in my possession an Artifact that allows me to send simple text messages to whoever I want. These messages are called “Postcards” for some reason, but I will be using them to document our travels though the Ninth World.
